Kristen Mugnai, DVM

Dr. Kristen Mugnai grew up in Southport and currently resides in Alna, Maine. She received an undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and earned her DVM degree from Oregon State University. Dr. Mugnai joined the Boothbay Animal Hospital team straight out of veterinary school. Her special interests include surgery and orthopedics.

Outside of work, Dr. Mugnai enjoys spending time with her two children, horseback riding, competitive jumping, managing her IEA riding team, and boating. She cares for a variety of animals including a dog, two cats, two birds, and five horses.
