Karen Letteney, DVM

Dr. Karen Letteney grew up in Gardiner, Maine and currently resides in Rockland, Maine. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Maine Orono, and her DVM degree from Kansas State University. Dr. Letteney joined Boothbay Animal Hospital after completing a small animal rotating internship at an emergency and specialty practice in Kansas City, Kansas. Her special interests include surgery and dentistry.

Outside of work, Dr. Letteney enjoys reading, walking in the woods with her dogs and spending time on the water. In addition to two dogs, she has a cat and a horse.
