About the Role

Boothbay Animal Hospital, established in 1974, offers a modern facility with four exam rooms, a surgical suite, and a treatment area designed with your patients' care in mind. We specialize in small animal care, with occasional wildlife and pocket pets. Join our dedicated, family-like team in a beautiful coastal location!
 
What We Offer:
  • Work-Life Balance: 4-day work week with one day off, no after hours, and no on-call.
  • Supportive Team: Collaborate with experienced DVMs, LVTs, and a growing team.
  • Modern Facilities: Digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a fully equipped surgical suite, and boarding (we specialize in cats with medical conditions requiring daily medication)
  • Community Involvement: Participate in local programs like Midcoast Humane Society, Cleo Fund, and the State of Maine 'Help Fix ME' spay/neuter program.
