Ben was born and raised in northern California. He attended Boston College where he earned a Bachelors in Chemistry and Neuroscience. Following college, he worked in behavior analysis, aiding in research into Austims Spectrum Disorder at UC Davis. He then worked in neuroscience research into traumatic brain injury at Mass General Hospital and Harvard University. Ben attended Ross Veterinary School in St. Kitts and completed his clinical rotations at Cornell University. He worked for several years as an emergency veterinarian at Midcoast Animal Emergency Clinic and Maine Veterinary Medical Center.
Ben is proud to be joining the team at Boothbay Animal Hospital and is excited to share his skills and a keen interest in neurology, surgery, behavior, and client education and communication.
He lives in the Boothbay region and in his spare times enjoys fishing, boating, gardening, keeping chickens and hiking with his Tree Walker Hound 'Oak' and his two shorthair cats 'Hella Love' (a calico) and 'Habanero' (an orange tabby)
